About Us
At the southern edge of Tasmania, we (Nina Koops and Adam Mullard) started our workshop in 2013 with a love of making things by hand. What began as a small fabrication business grew into a busy workshop and a team of makers we’re proud to call friends.
After the Huon bushfires and COVID turned life upside down, we found ourselves leaning into a small side project we’d been quietly building, handmade home and garden wares inspired by natural textures, aged metal, and timeless design. That project became Ninapatina.
We first opened in a humble shipping container at our workshop, but quickly outgrew it. In 2021, we restored an old apple packing shed in Ranelagh and made it our flagship store.
Today, Ninapatina is a collection of thoughtful pieces for home, garden, and gathering. Designed to be useful, beautiful, and made to last. Everything we create is shaped by craftsmanship, resilience, and a deep appreciation for honest materials.
We’re still a small family business, still making by hand, and still grateful for every person who supports what we do.
